MRS. RHODA WELDY

Mrs. Rhoda Weldy, 73, died unexpectedly at her home, Wakarusa, Ind., Sunday evening, April 24. She was born Jan. 8, 1876, in Locke township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Landis and was married to Jacob Weldy in 1895. He survives.

Mrs. Weldy was a member of the Holdeman Mennonite church for 56 years, and was Sunday school teacher in recent years.

Other survivors include four sons, Arthur of Bristol, Eldon of Wakarusa, Myron of South Bend and Dwight of Goshen; a daughter, Mrs. Earl Harter of Wakarusa, and 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A prayer service was held at the residence Wednesday at 2 p. m., followed by funeral services at the Olive Mennonite church at 2:30. Burial was in Olive cemetery. Bishop D. A. Yoder was in charge of services, assisted by Rev. Warren Shaum.
