WM. HENDY [sic] WEIDIGER
Wm Henry Weidiger died at his home in this city Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. His health has been failing for a long time and several times previously within the past year he has approached near death.
Mr. Weidiger was born Oct. 29, 1824, at Mesritz, Germany, and moved with his family to this country in 1883. The greater part of his life was spent in educational work and he was a respected citizen. He leaves a wife and six children: Henry, who lives in McPherson; Gus and Julius of Oklahoma; Ernest of Missouri and two daughters in Germany.
The funeral services were held at the residence at 1:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon and at the Lutheran church at 1:30 o'clock.
(Note: his wife's obituary seems to be Widiger, Alvina, in 1921. Note the different name spelling.)
