MRS. VIOLA WEHMULLER

Viola Wiedmann Wehmuller was born May 25, 1887, at St. Joseph, Mo. She died March 14, 1952, at the age of 64 years, nine months and 18 days.

At the age of six she came to Oklahoma with her parents, John and Rosina Wiedmann, and settled on a farm six miles north of ElReno. On January 14, 1909, she was united in marriage to Otto Wehmuller, and they made their home for eight years on a farm six miles north and two miles east of ElReno. From here they moved back to the farm of her childhood where she lived until her death.

Her illness began in July 1950, when she was admitted to the hospital. After undergoing major surgery she gradually recovered to the point that she was up and around visiting her friends.

On Feb. 5 of this year she was admitted to the hospital again for treatment and was released on March 2 to return to her home where she lived until her death.

She was baptized upon confession of faith in Christ on June 15, 1952 [sic 1902], and became a member of the Mennonite church north of ElReno, where she was faithful until her death.

She is survived by her husband, Otto C. Wehmuller; one daughter, Wilma Stine of Okarche, Route 3; one son, Oscar Wehmueller of Okarche, Route 3; also eight grandchildren, a number of cousins and many friends.
