KANSAS FARM YOUTH FALLS UNDER TRUCK WHEELS, FATALLY HURT
Greensburg, Kan. — An accident at a feedlot southwest of here Aug 4 claimed the life of Steven Ray Wedel, nine-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Weedy of Greensburg.
After opening the gate for the truck driven by his father, the boy tried to get into the moving truck, slipped and fell under the dual rear wheels. He died instantly.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Bethel Church of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite.
