James P. 'Beetle' Wedel
WALTON — James P. "Beetle" Wedel, 48, former manufacturing worker, died Sunday (May 24, 1998) at Marion County.
He was born April 24, 1950, in Moundridge to Gene Wedel and Jean (Schmitt) Wedel. They survive of Moundridge.
He was a lifetime Moundridge and Walton resident. He was a member of the First Mennonite Church of Christian in Moundridge. He was a graduate of Moundridge High School and Bethel College.
Survivors include one niece, Fatimah Abdul Nur of Moundridge.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Mennonite Church Cemetery in Moundridge with Pastor Eleanor Beachy officiating.
Memorials have been established with the First Mennonite Church Piano Fund in care of Harder-Kaufman Funeal Home in Moundridge.
