Two Killed in Crash Near Inman, Kansas

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR JACOB H. WILLEMS HELD AT ZOAR K. M. B. CHURCH

Inman, Kansas. — Funeral services for Jacob H. Willems, 62, well-known Conway area farmer who was one of two victims of a car-truck crash near here, were held Thursday forenoon, July 30, at the Zoar K. M. B. church. Rev. Arnold Ensz, the pastor, officiated.

Mr. Willems was traveling south in his pickup truck Monday evening when he collided with a car at the West Liberty Mennonite church crossing about seven miles northwest of Inman. The driver of the car, Harold E. Weaver, 56, of Lyons, was also killed.

A native of the Buhler community, Mr. Willems had lived on a farm near Conway for 36 years. He had been a member of the Zoar church since 1918.

Survivors include the widow, Elizabeth, and son Robert of the home, two other sons, one daughter, five brothers and two sisters.
