NETTIE WARMS

Nettie Warms died May 10. She was born Feb. 17, 1919 to Henry and Aganetha Penner in Felsenbach, Ukraine. Her father died when she was 7. The family immigrated to Canada in 1927, settling in Winkler, Man. She worked as a domestic in local homes. She accepted Jesus as Saviour and was baptized, joining Winkler MB Church. She married Albert Warms Sept. 21, 1941. They farmed near Blumenfeld. She was a gifted seamstress and an excellent cook. She enjoyed being part of Ladies Sewing Circle. In 1968 they moved to Winkler. She taught Cradle Roll at Winkler MB Church. She read her Bible faithfully. Predeceased by 2 sons in infancy, 1 grandson, 2 sisters and 1 brother, she is mourned by Albert; sons Bert and Vern; daughter Nettie Dyck; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons; 1 brother. The funeral was May 14 in Winkler MB Church.
