(MRS.) KATHERINA WALL

Lena Wall was born on March 20, 1892 to Henry and Barbara Janzen Bartsch at Bingham Lake, Minnesota. In 1904 she, together with her parents, moved to Saskatchewan, settling on a farm west of Osler. In 1907 she was baptized upon the confession of her faith by Rev. Jacob Lepp and received into the Mennonite Brethren Church of Dalmeny.

On December 2, 1917 she was married to Peter P. Wall. They made their home in Dalmeny and for 52 years were privileged to share joys and sorrows until Mr. Wall's death on February 6, 1970.

After the death of her husband, she moved to the Senior Citizens Home of Dalmeny. She passed away October 29, at the age of 82. Rev. Peter Boschman officiated at the funeral, held November 2 in the Mennonite Brethren Church of Dalmeny.

She is survived by one sister, Annie Friesen of White Rock, B.C. and one brother, John Bartsch, Nanaimo, B.C.
