MRS. ISAAC G. WALL

Our wife and mother, Elizabeth Wall, nee Friesen, was born July 9, 1893, near Henderson, Nebraska, where she also grew to womanhood. On May 27, 1912, she was baptized upon the confession of her faith by Elder H. H. Epp, and was received as a member into the Bethesda Mennonite church, where she remained a faithful member until the end.

She was united in holy matrimony with Isaac G. Wall on October 13, 1915, and spent the first year of her wedded life at Chinook, Montana, after which we returned to the Henderson community where we resided until her death.

To this union were born six children: Harry; Luella, Mrs. Oscar Ott; Aaron; Myrtle, Mrs. Robert Brimlow; Arnold of Salem, Oregon; and Alma at home. We were privileged to spend 36 happy years of wedded life together.

Our mother was a praying mother. She prayed much for her family, for missionaries in the fields, the ministers at home, her church and community. She had a kind and quiet Christian spirit which took her through many difficult experiences throughout life. During the past six years she suffered from a weak heart condition, and her health was failing rapidly during recent months. On Wednesday afternoon. November 14, she became seriously ill because of her weak heart and a blood clot, and on Thursday at 3:50 p.m. she passed away in the Henderson Community hospital. Mother reached the age of 58 years, four months, and six days. One of her favorite hymns was. "O Mein Jesu Du Bist Wert" of which she quoted several verses when she was sick.

She leaves to mourn her departure: her husband: six children; three daughters-in-law; two-sons-in-law; four sisters, Mrs. Henry Siebert, Salix, Iowa, Mrs. Aaron P. Sieber, Mrs. Henry H. Hurebert, Miss Lena Friesen; one brother, G. E. Friesen; three sisters-in-law; six brothers-in-law; 10 grandchildren, and many relatives and friends. We sorrow but not as those without hope because she has gone to be with her Lord whom she loved and served.
