ARON G. WALL

Aron G. Wall of Vineland, Ontario, passed away suddenly at his home on April 22 as the result of a heart attack. The funeral was conducted from the Vineland Mennonite Brethren Church on April 25 with Rev. Jake Neufeld and Rev. Isaac Block ministering.

He was born in southern Russia on May 26, 1896, the third oldest in a family of eight. He was married on September 4, 1921 to Maria Braun, who survives him. They were able to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary in September, 1971. In September, 1926 the Walls left Russia, settling first at Namaka, Alta. In 1938, they moved to Vineland, Ontario, where they bought a fruit farm. Later they moved on to a farm near St. Catharines. Because of Mr. Wall's failing health, they moved into Vineland in 1956.

He became a Christian as a young man, was baptized and joined the MB church, in which he served as deacon for many years. He had a love for the church and was always willing to serve the Lord in such ways as he was able. He will remain an example to the church in his unwavering faith and his faithful intercession.

He leaves to mourn, his wife, Maria; three sons, Rev. John of Winnipeg, Gerhard and Ernest of St. Catharines, and their wives; three daughters, Mrs. Henry (Katie) Siemens, Kitchener, Lillian Wall, Winnipeg, and Martha Wall, Montreal; one son-in-law, nine grandchildren and a large circle of friends and relatives.
