Burns Fatal To Reedley Youth

Reedley, Calif. — Funeral services were held at the Mennonite Brethren church here April 9 for Alfred George Wall, 18, who was fatally burned in an accident at the Wall farm near here March 29. He died the following day at Reedley hospital.

The youth had been burning brush along a ditch bank, and threw a container of gasoline on a pile of ashes which he thought was dead. Live coals at the bottom of the pile caused the gas to ignite, covering half of his body with burns.

He was a graduate of Immanuel Bible academy here and was attending Reedley college. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George P. Wall, a brother and two sisters, and his grandmothers, Mrs. G. A. Wiens and Mrs. C. P. Klassen.
