MRS. AGNES WALL

Mrs. Agnes Wall, daughter of Henry F. and Anna (Martens) Pankratz, was born Feb. 7, 1879 at Henderson, Neb. where she grew to womanhood.

In February 1898 she was united in marriage to Cornelius H. Wall, with whom she shared life's joys and sorrows for 22 years. For a number of years after their marriage they lived at Litchfield, Neb. In 1912 they moved back to Henderson, and in 1915 they came to Idaho. This union was blessed with seven children, five sons and two daughters. In 1920 her husband went to his eternal reward. With faith and courage she took upon herself the responsibilities of caring and providing for the smaller children.

She usually enjoyed good health and derived much satisfaction from working and doing things for others. She was also very faithful in attending church and in reading her Bible.

The last two winters as her strength began to decline more and more, she spent the winter months with her children. After about a week of illness and intense suffering with a heart condition, she passed away peacefully in her sleep on Jan. 2, 1961.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edward V. Laney of San Diego, Calif. and Mrs. Guy Duphey of Rupert, Idaho; five sons, Jake, Jack and Speed Wall, of Rupert, Pete Wall of Burley, Idaho and Chris Wall of Salt Lake City, Utah. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Katie Ott of Aurora, Neb., and two brothers, J. J. Pankratz of Abbotsford, B. C., and H. H. Pankratz of Langham, Sask.

Funeral services were held on Jan. 4 at the Rupert Christian Church of which she was a member.
