MRS. AGNES WALL

Agnes Epp Wall, daughter of Cornelius P. Epp and Aganetha Schierling was born April 17, 1889, in York County, Neb. On Dec. 27, 1914, she was baptized upon her confession of faith by Rev. John P. Epp and received into the E. M. B. church, Henderson, Neb. She transferred her membership to the Bethesda Mennonite church on March 29, 1942, where she remained a faithful member until her death.

She was united in marriage with Jacob W. Wall on March 2, 1919, to which union were born five children: Bertha, Mrs. Willard Friesen; Olga and Cornelius, who died in infancy; Martha, Mrs. Leslie Friesen; Lena, Mrs. Willis Friesen.

Mother and father made their home near Chinook, Mont., from 1919 to 1929. Father preceded mother in death on January 7, 1929, leaving her with the great responsibility to provide for the rear her family in the fear of the Lord. Mother moved to the Henderson community following the death of her husband, and resided there at the time of her death.

She was in failing health for a number of years and her life came to its sudden close due to a heart attack in the early afternoon of Feb 12, 1955. She reached the age of 65 years, nine months, 26 days. Mother devoted much of her time to reading and memorizing the Scriptures, singing, and praying. We shall always remember her quiet life and constant, silent testimony.

She leaves to mourn her departure: her three daughters and three sons-in-law; seven grandchildren; one sister, Barbara, Mrs. George Enns of Hutchinson, Kansas; two brothers, Cornelius C. Epp and Jacob C. Epp (one brother, Peter, preceded her in death in 1917); 11 sisters-in-law and eight brothers-in-law, Mrs. C. C. Epp, Mrs. J. C. Epp, George Enns, Hutchinson, Kansas, Mrs. Helena Regier, Reedley, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Wall, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Dick, Mr. and Mrs. John G. Fast, Mt. Lake, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. John B. Ediger, San Jose, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Henry D. Thieszen, Lambert, Mont., Mr. and Mrs. I. T. Wiens, Steinbach, Manitoba; Mr. and Mrs. John Wall and Mrs. Henry Wall, Dallas Ore.; two aunts, Mrs. Peter P. Epp and Mrs. Dietrich Schierling; one uncle, Dietrich Schierling, and many other relatives and friends.
