Mrs. Sarah Voth.

Sarah Voth, nee Buller, was born in Harvey county, Kansas, on Nov. 15, 1908. She spent her youth and received her education in Harvey county and in several other localities. her catechetical instruction she received under Rev. A. J. Dyck who also baptized her, after which she was accepted as a member of the Hoffnungsau church on May 23, 1926. Later, on July 20, 1930, she with her parents and brothers and sisters united with the First Mennonite church of Newton, Kansas.

On April 2, 1935, she was united in marriage to Henry B. Voth, and they made their home on a farm near Buhler, Kansas. She united with the Buhler Mennonite church on January 19, 1936.

She always enjoyed good health and delighted in taking care of her home and in ministering to her husband, relatives and friends. She was also a devout Christina and loved to participate in the family devotions and to attend the services in the house of God. She was also active in church work and was a faithful member of her S. S. class and of the "Willing Workers' sewing society. She had a strong trust in God and in His lending, which was reflected in the fact that at Christmas time she chose as a Christmas gift for her mother-in-law a wall-motto bearing the words: "Jesus Never Fails."

On January 13, she went to a hospital in Hutchinson, looking forward in joyful anticipation to the arrival of a dear little one. The baby, Lola Mae, was born the same day, but God took her little soul to himself before she could see the light of this world. The mother was in a serious condition from the beginning, but she lingered unconscious most of the time, until early morning of Jan. 15, when the Lord also called her to her heavenly home, having lived happily with her husband two and one-half months less than three years. Her age at the time of her departure was 29 years and 2 months.

In deep sorrow her bereaved husband, her parents, 2 sisters, Kathryn and Helen of Newton, Kansas, and 2 brothers, John of Newton, Kansas, and Pete of San Francisco, Calif., and many other relatives and friends mourn her early departure. But the bereaved know that God makes no mistakes, and they are resigned to His leading, firmly believing that "All things work together for the good, to them that love God." And they are looking forward to the time when they shall meet her again in that heavenly home where no sorrow can enter and where partings are unknown.

My Savior, as Thou wilt — Oh may Thy will be mine!
Into Thy hand of love I would my all resign.
Through sorrow, or through joy, conduct me as Thine own.
And help me still to say, my Lord, Thy will be done.
