Peter P. Voth

Mt. Lake, Minn., March 28 — Funeral services for Peter P. Voth were conducted Sunday from the Valley Church, and interment was in the cemetery here. His death came last Wednesday at the state hospital in St. Peter, where he had been an inmate for several years.

The deceased was born on February 6th, 1872 in South Russia. He came to this country with his parents when he was six years old, and the family settled on a farm six miles southwest of Mountain Lake. he was married in 1894, and the union gave birth to eight children. Two have preceded him in death.

He has been ill since he was twenty-five years old, at which time he was the victim of the first attack. These came at intervals throughout his life, and at times they were more serious than at other times. He was committed to the state hospital in St. Peter in 1922, where his death also came.

Except for six years, which were spent on a farm near Avon, South Dakota, his residence has been here in Mountain Lake. he reached the age of 57 years, 1 month, and 14 days. He leaves to mourn his death, 4 sons and 2 daughters, three daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, 6 grandchildren, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Henry P. of Cottonwood, Minn., and Abr. P. Voth of North Dakota and their families came o be present at the funeral. Another son, Peter, is at present in Paris, where he is studying preparatory to going into missionary work. — Observer.
