Newton and Vicinity

Funeral services for Mrs. Paul E. Vogt, 72, of Hesston were held Saturday afternoon, March 13, at the Garden Mennonite Church, of which she was a member. Rev. Leonard Harder officiated. Mrs. Vogt died March 10 at Mercy Hospital, Moundridge. She was the former Edna Olive Tangeman of Newton. Surviving are Mr. Vogt, of Hesston; one son, Arnold, of Hesston; four daughters, Verna Vogt, a missionary in Japan, Mrs. Alvin Bergen of Wichita, Mrs. Richard Oller of Newton, and Mrs. Norman Friesen of Walton; and 14 grandchildren.
