— Funeral services were conducted at the Goessel Mennonite church last Saturday afternoon for Willard Unruh, 18 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Unruh, who was killed Thursday afternoon when the care [sic car] he was driving overturned on Highway 15 about one-half mile south of the Alexanderwohl church. The car apparently went out of control on the newly graded road. There were no witnesses of the accident, but the young man's body was found pinned in the overturned car shortly afterward by a neighbor, Willis Nickel. The youth had graduated from Goessel high school only a few days before. He leaves his parents, two sisters and four brothers; his grandfather, B. B. Wedel, and grandmother, Mrs. J. Unruh. The services were in charge of Rev. P. P. Buller, Rev. D. C. Wedel and Rev. Ed. Stucky.
