■ Sophia W. Unruh, 86, a homemaker and nurse's aid, died March 21 at Friendly Acres Retirement Community in Newton. Services were held at First Mennonite Church of Newton. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Friesen of Newton and Natalie Hill of Wichita; a sister, Marion Albrecht of Herington; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. her husband, John, died in 1992.
