MISS SARAH UNRUH

Funeral services held for Sarah Unruh on November 30, in the South Abbotsford (B.C.) Church with the Rev. J. Stobbe and Rev. A. Friesen of Abbotsford officiating. She passed away in the Tabor Home of a heart attack on November 28. Born in Slavgorod, Russia on June 10, 1918, daughter of Benjamin and Meta Unruh. Came to Canada and settled at Indian Head, Sask., in 1926; was baptized and joined the Mennonite Brethren church in her youth. In 1946 family moved to B.C. After the death of her father, she and her mother moved to the Tabor Home in Clearbrook. She was active in tract distribution. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Meta Unruh, Clearbrook, three brothers, Henry (Edmonton), John (Clearbrook), Jake (Chilliwack); two sisters, Mary, (Mrs.H. Siemens, Regina) and Nettie, (Mrs.Alex Kardus, Manitoba).
