Long-Time Reedley Farmer Found Dead on Tractor
Reedley, Calif. — John Unruh, 77, who had farmed in the area for 53 years, died unexpectedly at the family ranch near here June 24. He was found by members of his family, seated on the tractor.
He was a member of the Reedley Mennonite Brethren Church, where the funeral services were conducted on Jun 28 by Rev. Dan Friesen.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah, five daughters, 21 grandchildren and six great grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Marie Friesen of Reedley.
