— Word has been received here that Mrs. W. B. Unrau, formerly of Goessel, died yesterday afternoon at Goshen, Ind. She had been living at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Adolf Friesen of Goshen. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Max Savage of Warrensburg, Mo., and four grandchildren. The body is being returned here, and funeral services are announced for Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Alexanderwohl church. Mrs. Unrau was in her 80's.

MRS. W. B. UNRAU

Our mother, Mrs. Maria Wedel Unrau, was born April 26, 1874, in Alexanderwohl, South Russia, the daughter of Cornelius and Susanna Voth Wedel. In 1874 she came to the United States with her parents as a three-month-old child.

She was baptized June 6, 1892, in the Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, where she remained a member the rest of her life.

On Sept. 14, 1898, she married W. B. Unrau, who preceded her in death August 1925. She lived all her life in the Goessel community until she moved to her daughter's home in Goshen, Ind. in the summer of 1956.

She died Nov. 25,1958, at 2:45 p. m. in Goshen, Ind., at the age of 84 years and seven months. Death followed a heart complication.

Surviving are two daughters: Susie (Mrs. Adolf Friesen) of Goshen, and Martha (Mrs. Max Savage) of Warrensburg, Mo.. Also surviving are four granddaughters: Suzanne and Helen Friesen and Carol and Janet Savage.

Funeral services were held in the Alexanderwohl Church on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 30, in charge of the pastor, Rev. P. A. Wedel.
