Former Publisher of Weekly Paper Dies

Corn, Okla. — Funeral services were held at the Corn Mennonite Brethren Church on Oct. 29 for Henry A. Unger, 87, former editor and publisher of the local weekly newspaper, the Washita County Enterprise. He died Oct. 27 at Southwestern Memorial Hospital.

A native of Hillsboro, Kan., Mr. Unger lived here most of his life. In addition to publishing the Enterprise, he was a rural mail carrier for many years. in recent years he had resided at the Corn Home for Aged.

Survivors include his widow, the former Louise N. Kroeker, who is an invalid and a resident of the home for aged; two daughters, Mrs. J. E. (Viola) Heinrichs, who has long been associated with the Enterprise, and Mrs. Harvey Engle of Hobart; three sons, Ervil of Cordell, Bill of Corn, and Henry of Fort Madison, Ia.; two sisters, Mrs. H. D. Unruh of Reedley, Calif. and Mrs. E. C. Hiebert of Anderson, Mo.; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
