DEATH TAKES AGED RETIRED FARMER AT ROANOKE, ILLINOIS
Roanoke, Ill. — ePter [sic Peter] M. Ulrich, 86, a retired farmer and one of the oldest settlers of this community, died last week at the Eureka hospital. He had lived for some time at the Mennonite Old People’s Home.
Funeral services were held at the Roanoke Mennonite church, with Rev. Ezra Yordy officiating. Mr. Ulrich was born on a farm here May 3, 1869. Including his six sons and six daughters who survive, he leaves a total of 102 descendants.
