INJURIES RECEIVED WHILE PICKING PEARS FATAL TO OHIO FARMER
Apple Creek, Ohio. — Rudy C. Troyer, 66, well known local farmer, died here early in September as result of injuries received when he fell from a ladder while picking pears at his home. Death came after two days of suffering at the Millersburg hospital, where Mr. Troyer received treatment following the accident.
Ministers Roman D. Troyer and Menno J. Fast conducted the funeral services held at the house September 7. Mr. Troyer was a member of the Old Order Amish church.
