JERRY F. TROYER

Jerry F. Troyer, son of Jeremiah J. and Fannie (Bontrager) Troyer, was born in Reno County, Kansas, on Dec.28, 1894. He passed away June 13, 1958, at his home near Pryor, Okla., reaching the age of 63 years. His sudden death was due to a heart attack.

He was married to Sovilla Mullet on July 21, 1914. He leaves his wife and nine children: Tillie (Mrs. Amos Coblentz, Kalona, Iowa); Mary (Mrs. Roy Helmuth, Kansas City, Kansas); Martha (Mrs. Roy Hartzler, Kansas City, Kans.); Fannie (Mrs. Carl Springer, Archbold, Ohio); Jerry, Adair, Okla.; Alvin, West Unity, Ohio; Earl Ray, Pryor, Okla.; Ida Edith, at home; Harry, Greenwood, Del. Besides these he leaves 38 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, five brothers and six children.

He accepted Christ as his Saviour and was a member of the Mennonite Church, in which he served faithfully until death. Funeral services were held on June 16, 1958, at the Zion Mennonite Church, Pryor, Okla. His body was laid to rest in the church cemetery.
