MRS. IVA TROYER

Mrs. Iva Edith Troyer, daughter of Daniel A. and Lizzie (Yoder) Miller, was born in McPherson county, Kansas, on Feb. 1,1899, and departed this life July 6, 1958 at the age of 59 years, five months and five days.

In her youth she accepted Christ as her personal Saviour, uniting with the West Liberty Mennonite church near McPherson.

On December 21, 1917 she was united in marriage to Sam J. Troyer. To this union was born four children; Mervin, Maurine (Mrs. Vernon Zimmerman) Wilbur, and Wilma (Mrs. Alvin Mast) all of Harper, Kan.

After marriage, twelve years of her life were spent in Oklahoma. In 1930 she with her family made her home near Harper, Kan. where she spent the remainder of her life.

On coming to Kansas she united with the Pleasant Valley Mennonite Church, Harper, remaining a faithful member to the end.

Her companion, her parents, two brothers, one sister, and two grandchildren preceded her passing.

She leaves four brothers, Sam D. Miller, Nampa, Idaho, Roy Miller, Wellman, Iowa, Chris E. Miller, Linville, Va., V. David Miller, Kalona, Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Helmuth, Harrisonville, Mo., Mrs. Barbara Zink, Inman, Kan., and Nora, (Mrs. Roy Troyer) Hesston, Kan., 12 grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services at the Pleasant Valley church were in charge of the pastor, Waldo E. Miller. Scriptural meditation was by M. M. Troyer.

Interment was made in the Pleasant Valley cemetery.
