Youth Hit by Truck, Dies of Injuries

HARVEY D. TROYER, 18, PINNED AGAINST WALL BY CEMENT TRUCK

Goshen, Ind. — Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Pleasant Grove Conservative Mennonite Church near here for Harvey D. Troyer, 18, who was fatally injured in a construction accident at Sturgis, Mich. Rev. Clarence Yoder, the pastor, officiated.

The young man, son of Mrs. Susie Troyer of Millersburg, was employed by the David Bontrager Construction Co. in the erection of a new bottling company plant when he was pinned against a wall by a cement truck.

The accident occurred Aug. 26 and he died two days later in a Stugis hospital, having suffered internal injuries and fractures of both arms.

Surviving in addition to his mother are a twin brother, Harley, four other brothers and three sisters.
