AMISH BISHOP OF HOLMES COUNTY, OHIO CALLED AWAY IN DEATH
Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Gideon E. Troyer, 73, a native of Holmes County and bishop of the Charm District of the Old Order Amish church for a number of years, died at the home on Route 4, Millersburg, Nov. 15 after a lingering illness.
The funeral services, which were largely attended, were conducted in two houses at the Troyer farm and also at the Benj. E. Yoder residence. Visiting ministers from Geauga County, Ohio and Allen County, Ind. assisted in the services.
