SON OF MISSIONARIES KILLED IN ACCIDENT
Salunga, Pa. — A highway accident in Luxembourg on Feb. 14 claimed the life of Elvin Dean Troyer, four-year-old son of Missionary Daniel Troyer, it has been learned at the Eastern Board headquarters here.
The funeral was held in Dudelange on Feb 17.
Elvin was traveling with the Troyers' former house-girl and her husband who were en route to see friends in France. The girl was very fond of the boy, and as a result he accompanied them on the vacation trip.
It is reported that the accident occurred about an hour's drive from the France-Luxembourg border when the car went out of control because of high winds and crashed into a tree. The boy was instantly killed, and the couple were seriously hurt.
Daniel and Betty Troyer have four other children: Elmer Jay, 8, Daniel, 7, Ruth, 6, and Miriam, 2.
