Hanna Traub

Hanna Traub passed away Aug. 23 after a battle with cancer. She was born June 20, 1940 to Peter and Mary Reimer in Greendale, B.C. She accepted Jesus in March, 1956 and was baptized the same year. She graduated from Mountain View Bible College in Didsbury, Alta. in 1963. She married David Traub in fall, 1963. They pastored in Alberta, Ontario, Coquitlam, B.C. and Burnaby, B.C. She worked at various secretarial jobs, most recently at Willingdon Church in Burnaby, B.C. 1987-96. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in May, 1996. She was hospitalized but was able to come home to be cared for by her family. She is remembered as a sensitive, gracious and hospitable person who loved to laugh and to bring joy and laughter to others. She was a loving person and a caring friend. Predeceased by her mother in December, 1994, she is mourned by David; daughter Karmen of Langley, B.C.; son Greg of Burnaby, B.C.; 3 grandchildren; her father of Chilliwack, B.C.; 3 brothers and 4 sisters. The funeral was Aug. 27 at the Willingdon Church, with Carlin Weinhauer, Bill Klassen, Ron Clark and Ed Boschmann ministering.
