Death Claims Manitoba School Inspector
Steinbach, Man. — Funeral services for Nicholas Toews, 57, school inspector for the Province of Manitoba since 1963, were held Oct. 3 at the First Mennonite Church of Winnipeg. He died Sept. 30 at the home in Selkirk, Man.
Born in the Ukraine in 1913, Toews came to Canada with his parents in 1924. He earned his B. A. and B. E. degrees in universities here, and taught in Southeastern Manitoba schools.
