J. L. (TINY) TOEWS

J. L. (Tiny) Toews, Herbert, Sask., passed away on the last day of the Canadian M.B. Conference. He was born on May 6, 1910 in the Hodgeville District. His parents were the deceased Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Toews who were pioneers south of Herbert. He died of coronary thrombosis on Wednesday, July 3, 1963. His death occurred early in the morning in his home at Herbert, and he was 53 years of age. He leaves to mourn his wife, Lee, two sons, Jerry and Robert, one sister Helen (Mrs. George Penner) of Herbert, his motherin-law, Mrs. Elizabeth Enns and one uncle, Mr. Isaak Toews, Clearbrook, B.C., and many other relatives and friends. The funeral was held in the M.B. Auditorium at Herbert on July 6, 1963, with Rev. Nick Janz and Rev. J. J. Thiessen in charge.
