Mrs. William W. Toevs

WICHITA — Emma S. Toevs, 96, died Wednesday morning at the Hill Haven Convalescent Home in Wichita. She had resided with her granddaughter, Cynthia Mitchner of Wichita, prior to her illness.

Services will be held at 10:30 a. m. Friday at the Lorraine Avenue Mennonite Church in Wichita, with a noon graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.

She was born Sept. 9, 1984, [sic] at Elbing. She was married to William W. Toevs. He died in 1956.

She is survived by two [sic] sons, Willard F. of Knoxville, Tenn., Roland R. of Magnolia, Ark., and Waldo C. of Pueblo, Colo.; one brother, Gus Schroeder of Newton; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Stucky of Moundridge, and Mrs. Nihla Aldridge of Los Angeles, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
