PETE THIESSEN

Pete Thiessen was born on Jan. 14, 1896, at Jansen, Neb. and departed this life Feb. 9, 1955, at the Meade, Kansas hospital at the age of 59 years and 25 days.

In 1942 he with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter B. Thiessen moved to Meade, Kansas where he resided until his departure. His parents and one brother, Dave, preceded him in death.

In1916 Mr. Thiessen accepted the Lord as his personal Saviour.

On Jan 5, 1919, he was married to Marie Loeffler. To this union were born two daughters and two sons, Naomi, Mrs. Garcia of Rock Island, Ill., Anna, Mrs. Sumner of Dodge City, Kansas, Herbert and Dennis, both at home. there is one grondson [sic grandson].

Besides his wife and children he leaves to mourn his departure six sisters. Mrs. Maggie Harms of Dallas, Oregon. Mrs. Lena Franz of Reedley, Calif., Mrs. Kate Doerksen of Keys, Calif., Mrs. Ann Harms of Madrid, Neb., Mrs. Lizzie Daye of Oakland, Calif., Mrs. Agnes Wiens of Hillsboro, Kans., and a number of relatives and friends.
