Mrs. Anna Thiessen

Mrs. Anna Thiessen was born on March 23, 1901, near Buhler, Kansas, where she also spent her youth.

On May 18, 1928 she was united in marriage to Isaac C. Thiessen. On Jan. 2, 1929, this union was blessed with a little daughter, who passed away at the age of three months.

In May 1922 she was converted and on June 18 of that year she was baptized by Elder John Esau and united with the Zoar church.

On March 11, this union was blessed with a little son at the Grace hospital, but Mrs. Thiessen contracted pneumonia which caused her death on march 19th at the age of 29 years.

She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, one son, her parents, five brothers, three sisters and many friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the Zoar Church last Sunday afternoon. Rev. John Esau officiated and was assisted by Rev. Cor. Thiessen and Rev. Heinrich Adrian. The church choir and a quartet from Buhler rendered a number of selections during the services. The remains were laid to rest in the Zoar cemeterty. — Inman Review.
