P. W. THIESEN

P. W. Thiesen was born in the village of Halbstadt, South Russia, on August 21, 1860. He came to America at the age of 15, settling first at Jansen, Neb., and later moving to the Reedley-Dinuba area in California, where his children and grandchildren now reside.

In 1945 he married Dr. Elizabeth Isaac of Moundridge, Kansas. He later became ill and finally was taken to the Mercy hospital, Moundridge, where he received very good care until the end. He peacefully passed away on Feb. 7, 1952, at the age of 91 years.

A brief service was conducted at Harder’s funeral home by his pastor. Rev. J. J. Toews of the Buhler M. B. church. The body was then sent to California for burial.
