FIVE YEAR OLD BOY SUFFERS INSTANT DEATH WHEN CRUSHED BY TRACTOR

Sugar Creek, Ohio, May 6. — Gary Wade Sundheimer, five-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Sundheimer, was killed instantly last Thursday afternoon, when he fell between the shaft of a tractor and fruit sprayer while watching the spraying of fruit trees on the farm of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Sundheimer, two miles northeast of Walnut Creek. Gary and his parents resided on the farm.

The youngster had been riding on the tractor a few minutes before the accident occurred, but had climbed down and was running alongside of it when he was caught. A physician was called to examine the child, who suffered a fractured leg and arm and a crushed head, but death was instantaneous.

Funeral services were conducted at the grandparents' home at 1:30 p. m. Sunday, followed with services at the Mennonite church in Walnut Creek, with Rev. Paul Miller and the Rev. Alvin Miller officiating. — Sugar Creek Budget.
