Helen (Creglow) Sump

Helen Sump, 69, of 417 Mead, a homemaker, died today (March 19, 1988) at NMC-Bethel. She had lived in Newton most of her life.

Services will be at 10 a. m. Monday at the First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Michael Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Born July 8, 1918, in Summersville, Mo., she was the daughter of Elbert Warren and Flora (Anderson) Creglow. She married Roy A. Sump on Aug. 16, 1941, and he is among the survivors. She was a member of the church.

Other survivors include two sons, Dale Sump and David Sump, both of Newton; one sister Violet Mitchell, Newton, and three grandchildren.

Friends may call from 1 to 9 p. m. Sunday at Petersen's Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been established for the First Church of the Nazarene.
