Berlin, Nov. 21. — Hermann Sudermann, noted dramatist, died tonight.
Hermann Sudermann, German dramatist and novelist, was born in East Prussia in 1857 of a Mennonite family long settled near Elbing. He became a journalist and for two years was the editor of a paper, then turning to the writing of novels.
