MANNO STUTZMAN

Manno Stutzman, son of William and Elizabeth Troyer Stutzman, was born April 20, 1881 at Milford, Neb. and died of a heart condition at the home of his son, Roy, July 21, 1959, at the age of 78 years, three months and one day.

He accepted Christ in his youth and united with the East Fairview Mennonite church and remained faithful until his death. He was married to Lydia Hauder Jan. 3, 1903, who preceded him in death April 11, 1921. To this union were born five sons and one daughter, Clarence of Milford, Walter and Clayton, who preceded him in death, Roy of Milford, Art of Cairo and Mabel, Mrs. Lyle Beckler of Seward.

On Dec. 12, 1926, he was married to Maggie Erb, who preceded him in death Nov. 2, 1940. To this union were born two sons and two daughters, Percy of Beaver Crossing, Rose, Elda and Morris of Milford.

Surviving him besides the above named children are 33 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one brother, Perry of Milford; two half sisters, Alma, Mrs. Lee Schweitzer of Dorchester, and Ada, Mrs. Emory Schweitzer; two step sisters, Kate, Mrs. Amos Jantzi and Emma, Mrs. L. O. Schlegel, all of Milford. Preceding him in death were his parents, two sons, one grandson, three brothers, two half brothers, and one half sister.
