ELMER E. STUTZMAN

Elmer E. Stutzman, son of John H. and Katie (Erb) Stutzman, was born at Milford, Nebr. on Dec. 30, 1890. He passed away at his home Oct. 20, 1959 of a heart attack at the age of 68 years, 10 months and 19 days.

On Feb. 16, 1911 he was united in marriage to Ida Birkey. To this union were born four daughters, Verda (Mrs. Emma Busboom), of Minden, Nebr.; Elva (Mrs. John Roth) of Seward; Vietta (Mrs. Sterling M. Stauffer) and Edith (Mrs. Wesley Stutzman), both of Milford.

He leaves to mourn his departure his wife Ida, four daughters, 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three brothers, Wes and Bert, both of Milford and Pete of Los Angeles, Calif., and two sisters, Ella (Mrs. Joe Kremer) and Ida (Mrs. Sterlign U. Stauffer) of Milford.

Those who precede him in death were his parents, one sister, Melinda, (Mrs. Jake Kremer) of Ontario, Calif., who passed away the same day, one brother, Lee, and one great-grandchild.

He was baptized at the East Fairview Mennonite church, of which he was a faithful member until the time of his death. He was a kind and loving husband and father, and was concerned for the welfare of his children and the church.
