DEATH COMES TO FIVE YEAR OLD CHILD KICKED BY HORSE
Newton relatives attended the funeral on Saturday afternoon of the five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Stucky of northwest of Moundridge.
The child died on Thursday in Bethel hospital here of injuries sustained the previous Tuesday when kicked by a horse at the Stucky farm. Mrs. Stucky went into the corral to search for a garden tool and the accident occurred before she became aware that the child had followed her there.
Services were conducted by Rev. Gustav Frey, Newton, at the Hopefield church near Moundridge.
