MARY SCHRAG STUCKY

Mary Schrag Stucky, daughter of Andrew and Katharina Goering Schrag was born Oct. 12, 1894, in Harvey County, Kan. In her early childhood her parents moved to Pretty Prairie, Kan., and later to McPherson, where she grew to adulthood.

She accepted Christ as her personal Saviour when a young girl and served Him faithfully. She was a member of the Hopefield Mennonite church.

She was married Feb. 18, 1911, to Jacob Stucky. We will remember the many kind deeds she has done and loving words she has spoken. Her faith in God gave her the assurance that she had a home prepared for her when she would be called away from the earth. Her greatest joy was in memorizing and singing songs of praise to her Lord.

We as children are happy and thankful that all her suffering and all trials are ended and that she now is at home with her Saviour where we expect to meet her.

She leaves to mourn her death five children, Edith Kaufman and husband Marvin, Viola Pankratz and husband Ted, Harry Stucky and wife Wilma, Roy Stucky and wife Marie, and Clyde Stucky and wife Esther; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Two of her children preceded her in death. Other survivors include three brothers and five sisters and many relatives and friends. — The Family.
