Hutchinson Dentist Called by Death

DR. B. J. STUCKY ALSO PRACTICED AT PRETTY PRAIRIE FOR MANY YEARS

Hutchinson, Kan. — Dr. B. J. Stucky, 67, well-known Hutchinson dentist, formerly of the Pretty Prairie community south of here, died Friday, Jan. 1, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan. He had been ill two weeks.

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at Elliott and Gard Chapel here, followed by services at the First Mennonite church of Pretty Prairie, of which he was a member. Rev. Elmer Friesen and Rev. Leonard Metzker officiated.

Dr. Stucky practiced dentistry at Pretty Prairie from 1918 to 1934, when he moved to Hutchinson. He was active in professional dental societies and was a former member of the Bethel College Board of Directors.

Surviving are his widow, Regina; a son, Dr. Milo M. Stucky, a dentist at San Diego, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Don Snapp of Denver, Colo.; five brothers; and three grandchildren.
