TRUCK LOADED WITH CEMENT BLOCKS RUNS OVER LITTLE GIRL

Ephrata, Pa. — An accident at the farm home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben O. Stoltzfus near Honey Brook claimed the life of their three-year-old daughter, Joy Elaine.

A truck making a delivery of cement blocks to the farm stopped in the driveway, and apparently the girl crawled under the vehicle as the driver paused to inquire where the blocks should be unloaded. When he started up, a rear wheel ran over her head.

Funeral services were held Dec. 17 at the Conestoga Mennonite Church near Morgantown.

Surviving in addition to the parents are a sister and two brothers, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen E. Stoltzfus of Kennedyville, Md. and Mr. and Mrs. JJohn [sic John] S. Stoltzfus of Morgantown.
