Great-Grandmother Dies at Age 87
Kidron, Ohio. — Mrs. Anna Steffen, 87, longtime, faithful member of the Sonnenberg Mennonite church near here, died at her home near Apple Creek on Feb. 17 after a long illness.
Funeral services were held at the Sonnenberg church on Feb. 20, with Louis Amstutz, I. Mark Ross and Harley Steffen officiating.
Mrs. Steffen was the widow of Dan Steffen, who was killed a number of years ago when his team of horses ran away. Surviving are two sons, David and Amos; two sisters, Mrs. Aaron Steiner and Mrs. Simon Steiner; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
