WAKARUSA, INDIANA FARMER KILLED WHEN CAR STRIKES TREE

Wakarusa, Ind. — Funeral services were held at the Olive Mennonite church Aug. 5 for Ivan Stauffer, 59, well known farmer of the community who died instantly in an auto accident Aug. 1. C. A. Shank and Elno Steiner conducted the services.

Mr. Stauffer was driving alone near his home northeast of here when his car left the road and struck a tree. He was returning home after spending the day with a daughter, Mrs. Vernon Miller, at Middlebury.

He leaves his wife, who was Ruth May Loucks, two daughters, Mrs. Miller and Mrs. David Yoder; one son, Paul; six grandchildren; two sisters and one brother.
