RECEIVE WORD OF MISSIONARY'S PASSING ON EAST AFRICAN FIELD

Lancaster, Pa. — Relatives here have received word of the death of Mrs. Elam Stauffer, 46, at the Bukiroba station of the Africa Mennonite mission, Musoma, Tanganyika Territory, British East Africa, after an illness of several months.

Mr. and Mrs. Stauffer were serving their second term in Africa, going there for their first term in 1934. Mrs. Stauffer, the former Elizabeth Kauffman, was born in this county and was a member of the Erisman's Mennonite church. Her parents were the late Reuben G. and Ellen Kraybill Kauffman.

Survivors include one sister and two brothers, Mrs. D. Ralph Hostetler, Harrisonburg, Va., Reuben K.Kauffman and Elmer N. Kauffman, both of Manheim.
