Retired Fruit Farmer Dies in Pennsylvania
Ephrata, Pa. — Funeral services for Aaron O. Stauffer, 70, well-known fruit grower of the Bowmansville vicinity, were held April 10 at the Bowmansville Mennonite Church.
Mr. Stauffer founded the Stauffer Fruit Farm 28 years ago. Although he had retired five years ago, he continued to serve as secretary-treasurer of the firm. He was a crop reporter for the Pennsylvania Crop Reporting Service, and taught a Sunday school class at the Bowmansville church for 30 years.
