FARMER DIES WHILE WORKING IN FIELD

Freeman, S. D. — John J. K. Stahl died unexpectedly while working in a field near here. The body was found by his son on a drag pulled by a tractor, with the tractor still operating.

Funeral services were held May 14 at Pioneer Hall on the Freeman College campus.
